Rice Pudding

1 1/2 Cup Water

1 Cup Carolina rice

1/2 stick butter

1 cup sugar

1/2 gallon whole milk less 3/4 cup

3 eggs

2 cups milk

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup raisins

 

Cook first four ingredients in a large pot until thick paste, med heat (20-25 min approx) stir often.

Add the 1/2 gal milk less 3/4 cup bring to slow boil and

Cook for 45 min stirring often med heat.

 

Now take the 3 eggs the 2 cups of milk 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup sugar

and mix together well with electric mixer.

Add mixture to one on stove until it boils slow.

Add cinnamon and raisins and cook for another 5 to10

min.

Stir often
